The wisdom from old generations
Essential oils have gained back a popularity in recent years. It is in fact an old remedy that was very popular then. In ancient times, Jews and Egyptians made essential oils by soaking the plants in oil and then filtering the oil through a linen bag.
However, essential oils these days are more concentrated due to highly improved distillation techniques. Be careful in choosing essential oil, if not organic, it might contain a lot of pesticides which is not good for your body.

Less is better
Essential oils are extremely potent and it is important to use as little as needed, not as much as possible. In this case, more is not better. When a few drops of an oil used will work, using more or consuming it internally may actually be harmful.
